Individual needs take shape in many forms.

“What we call the personality is often a jumble of genuine traits and adopted coping styles that do not reflect our true self at all but the loss of it.”

— Gabor Maté

Down to earth therapy

A space to come back to yourself

Talking therapy

I offer talking therapy grounded in the humanistic and integrative approach with person-centred therapy at its core. This means sessions focus on you as an unique individual, inviting freedom to adventure within and explore your world beyond the surface.

I hold space for you to land safely in your body, creating a non-judgemental and supportive environment for you to feel truly heard and understood.

Integrative approach

Not one size fits all. This is why integrating elements into sessions is fundamental to unearthing your inner world. Integrative therapy is about you — not fitting you into one method, but using different tools and approaches to support your unique journey. It pulls from a range of therapies, like talking through emotions, understanding past patterns, working with the body, or building practical coping skills. Think of it like a toolbox: we pick what works best for you in the moment. The goal? To help you gain clarity , grow, and live more fully as yourself.

Person-centred

You are the expert on you, so we will work together in a way that unearths your inner world of thoughts and feelings in a direction you choose to navigate. Our sessions will always be led by you at your own pace and will only ever explore parts of your life that feels right for you in the moment.

Navigating big feelings

You might be looking to explore some big feelings that you are not sure how to deal with. Perhaps you feel numb and things feel a little deeper under the surface than you'd like. Maybe it's just not clear where to start, you feel stuck and would like to talk to someone about your experience in a neutral and confidential environment. Finding the right therapist is essential in creating a therapeutic relationship for you to feel comfortable and ready to work on areas that feel most helpful to you, inviting the possibility of sustainable change and personal growth.

Individual needs

I work with a flexible approach and focus on clients individual needs. When we begin a journey together, we first of all establish whether weekly or bi-weekly sessions are the best fit for you. After working together for a series of sessions, single sessions (as a form of top-up therapy) can be helpful to explore a specific issue.

Face-to-face

I work face-to-face in a private therapy cabin in the Nurture Garden at the heart of Newquay Orchard. Located just behind the Heart & Soul Café, it's a discreet yet accessible spot. Set within 7 acres of community-run land, the cabin provides the added benefit of access to peaceful outdoor spaces. Parking is free and a five minute walk from the cabin.

On-line

I work online using Zoom. Reliable wifi connection in the privacy of your own home with space and quiet to have a confidential session is highly recommended to allow therapeutic work to take place.

Walk-and-talk

I offer walk and talk therapy in nature here in Cornwall, where our sessions can unfold along tidal walks or tree-lined trails. Stepping outside the traditional therapy room, we navigate your thoughts and emotions while walking together in the natural world. Whether by the sea or under the canopy of trees, the movement and surroundings support a more relaxed, grounded experience. Each one-hour session offers the opportunity to reflect, reconnect, and explore your inner landscape while being held by the healing presence of nature.

Discovery call

I offer a free 30 min Zoom chat with a cuppa, which gives you the chance to ask any questions you may have about my practise and explore what has brought you to therapy. This opportunity may help you to understand if you resonate with my approach and if you feel that we align before we begin sessions.
